The center bead of this piece is quite old,assumed to be ca. 1850s Yemeni silver and red coral. It was found at an estate sale in 1978 with several others on a broken necklace, described by the owner as having been collected as an antique before WWI, about the turn of the last century. One can only image what experiences it has witnessed!
