jamala (juh-MAH-luh) - pan-Arabic word for beauty - Arabic

jasur (jeh-SUHR) - bold - Arabic

jaza (ZHAZ-eh) - reward - Arabic

jinn, djinn (jin) - spirits capable of appearing in human and animal forms and influencing humankind for either good or evil
